The agenda of this memorandum is to articulate and represent information about the
nature and primary activities of Fortis Inc. It is one of the top 15 companies in the utility
industry of North America. Fortis’ operations include electricity and gas generation,
transmission and distribution; non-regulated energy infrastructure and; electricity, natural
gas, and alternative energy solutions. With the mission to grow and diversify, Fortis Inc. has
expanded to incorporate 10 self-governing utility operations all through the Caribbean and
North America since its formation in 1987. Currently, it has operations in 5 Canadian
provinces, 9 states of the USA and 3 Caribbean countries. The company has the vision to
make an efficient resource allocation and provide quality service to its customers and add
