Effects of Avoidant Personality Disorder on Life
Avoidant Personality Disorder causes significant problems for those who suffer from it.
Though it is very rare, the people who are affected by this disorder face many challenges
throughout their lives. Since social interaction is such a large part of daily life, Avoidant
Personality Disorder is extremely challenging to live with. Having this disorder can also lead to a
decline in life success because of the fear that comes from being around other human beings.
This causes those who have it to avoid important events and everyday responsibilities such as
school or work. Avoidant Personality Disorder is challenging and creates self-isolation that leads
to other mental health issues as well.
