Automatic Speed Control System By the Color Sensor for Automobiles
Abstract
The increased rate of accidents reported in our day-to-day life, speed control is the need for our vehicles.
During 2014, road accidents were reported 149 fatal accidents in Singapore which is a result of lack of
speed control and violating the road rules. And the latest statistics showed that speeding violations rose
by 6.5 per cent with 278,545 violations in 2014 compared with 261,540 in the previous year. Many
accidents are caused because of rash driving, poor judgment on the part of driver and poor driving by
the driver partially. It is very difficult to drive the vehicle once the driver has lost control. We need some
safety systems in the vehicles to avoid rash driving and to prevent losing valuable life. Adopting
measures such as Traffic management, improving quality of road infrastructure and safer vehicles can
