Helping kids with Autism
Jennifer wasn’t going to let rent get in the way of following her passion to build a center
to help children with autism and disabilities. She was true to her WHY she wanted to help those
kids. While she started she states “I want everyone to be happy. It’s been hard to realize that I
can’t make all my employees or clients happy all the time.” When I first started working I had
the exact problem I wanted everyone to be happy but I realized I was dumb and couldn’t. I
would go out my way to make all my customers happy and some just ended taking advantage
and just wanted free meals. For example, a customer complained about using Mexican cheese
and not cheddar cheese and I literally told that person yes we use Mexican cheese you at a
Mexican restaurant not del taco. Another point Jennifer touched was her honest
communication and how it helped her build her trust. I 100% agree with honest communication
until these day my father emphases not lying and it’s something I don’t do and don’t like when
people do to me. I could seriously go on a rant about lying, I hate it.
