1. How would you asses the effectiveness of this team?
This team effectiveness would be poor. The goals of this team are clear and concise and
for a worthwhile cause, to decide the best treatment plan for children with cancer. The team
consist of several highly educated members that combine the right combination to deliver the
finest treatment plan for each child. The team is comprised of two physicians, a social worker, a
physical therapist, a radiologist and a child life worker, all who share a commitment to offer the
best resolution from beginning to end. The team has a strong membership however; the
effectiveness of the team is being compromised due to unfavorable behavior.
There are power issues getting in the way of the team having a results-driven structure.
