authentic leadership readings and sharing comparing my leadership styles against the concepts.
I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to lead people in a few different settings throughout my
professional career. Whether it has been in an authoritarian structured military environment, at a
robotic run publicly traded company with shareholders or in a slow paced privately held
company, I ‘ve tried to lead with the same mentality. I learned a lot from my time in the military
and benefited from seeing officers with various leadership styles lead during stressful time. I was
eager to learn and had the foresight to observe the officers (leaders) that I respected. I usually
had a high level of respect for the officers that treated the enlisted soldiers with a professional
respect.
