The three types of laws that can affect business are regulatory laws, labor laws, and tax laws
2. Name three sources of law (i.e. how did American law develop, where did it come from)?
The three sources of law that are covered in Chapter 1 are common law or case law is a law that are applied
and made by judges usually at the state level.
a. Common law came from England that originated during medieval times.
b. Treaty a law that is made with other nations usually by the president of the United States and then it is
ratified by the U.S Senate to become law.
