The History and Consequences of the Atomic Bomb
The Atomic Bomb has been called the most important historic event
of the twentieth century. Philosophers, who want to know if it was right; and
people around the world who want to know it could ever happen again.
Harry Truman, the first to use an atomic bomb in Warfare. Truman will be
remembered as the only American President ever to order the Wartime use
of the Atomic Bomb.
During the 1930’s, scientist proved that the atom could be split and
they also realized that it can release an incredible amount of energy which
held it together. Scientists started studying the atomic bomb, and its energy
inside the atomic bomb, creating a source of immense heat and radioactivity.
On September 1939, Germany invaded Poland and World War II
began. This war was called “The Great War”. By early 1941 German army
occupied many European countries without any significant opposition.
