Growing up, I always had big dreams and aspirations to become a Major League Baseball
player. Since then, these dreams are now turning into goals. If these goals do not work out, and
even if they do, I would really like to be working in the athletics training field at some point in
my life. This is something I have always been around and have always loved. I think the athletic
training field will give me the perfect balance between athletics and training which are two of my
biggest focuses right now. In a perfect world I would be able to work for a college athletic
training team or be on an MLB athletic training team.
In 1881 James Robinson was hired to work with the Harvard football team for
conditioning so that the football team had a step up on other teams. Before the hiring of James
Robinson athletic trainers were really only around to provide rub downs and massages on the
athletes. Since then, all different types of sports teams decided that they needed athletic trainers
