In any manufacturing job or service industry labor is always a big expense
when looking at a profit or loss statement. It also effects cash flow heavily
was can dictate future decisions and Direction the company may go or not
go in in terms of growing and developing the brand name or opening new
locations. This being said one would conclude an employer in these two
types of Industries would have a strong anti-union opinion being the fact
that it could turned business so as to which the labor becomes unprofitable
calling the company to lose money and eventually go out of business. Of
course this is an extreme case but definitely possible if the right situation
arose and unions got to powerful. Employer's and the manufacturing and
service Industries we'll always have to deal and work with unions but it is
very obvious they are reluctant and would like to relinquish power from the
Union and it's employees. if no price was given and their unions received
no push-back from the employer's the Unions would be able to run amok
and choose and pick all aspects of working conditions and salary and
payroll benefits which could push the company so far in the red they would
have to fold and close shop. On the other hand there are long term
problems if unions do agree to labor-management cooperation programs
mainly due to the fact there is no solid answer on what is to come in the
future and flexibility is a necessity when it comes to these heavy financial
decisions that could make or break a company. There's no way to tell what
the future holds and these Labor Management Corporation programs could
work very much for the employee and Union but also has the chance to do
just the opposite and pull against the union employees wishes and
demands. If the Union Crystal Ball was working properly and they could
have enough Visionary foresight to see what is coming in the next 10 to 30
years then these cooperation programs could be detailed accordingly but
