1) It has suction cups. This can help people who do not have very good use of their
fingers, but can still squeeze their hand.
2) It is 30 inches long. This allows people who are in wheelchairs the ability to reach up
into their cabinets from their wheelchairs to grab cups or other items that they may
have in their cabinets.
3) There is a locking mechanism. Once the item is grabbed the person in control of the
grabber can lock the claw in place around whatever the item is. This is helpful for
people who are not as strong or cannot keep their hand muscles flexed for very long
