Introduction
Kerzner (2013) defines Project Management as the Monitoring and planning of projects
that includes defining work requirements, quality and quantity of work, the needed resources,
tracking progress, comparing actual outcome to predicted outcome, analyzing the impact and
making adjustments to a project. Project Management can also be seen as the application of
processes, methods, skills, knowledge and experience to attain a specific goal (Barnes, 2012).
Project Management has objectives that are usually aligned against specific criteria with agreed
parameters. A project and tasks differ in such a project has limited time and budget (Barnes,
2012). According to Labarre “Project management involves the planning and organization of a
company’s resources to move a specific task, event, or duty towards completion. It can involve a
one-time project or an ongoing activity, and resources managed include personnel, finances,
