Perception is a process by which individuals organize and
interpret sensory impressions in order to give meaning to
their environment.
What we perceive reflects the true reality
The world that is perceived is the world that is
behaviorally important.
Factors that influence perception are those in the
situation, those in the perceiver, and those in the object
or target.
Factors in the situation are Attitudes, Motives, Interests,
Experiences, and expectations.
