1. This assignment can be done individually or in a group not exceeding 3 students.
2. The assignment must be submitted not later than Wednesday 8 September 2021 or Week 8. Marks will
be deducted for any late submission.
3. Presentation will be on Week 11.
Questions:
1. Izzah lost her pet rabbit which she named Kun when she brought her rabbit in a playground near
her house. She then posted a poster at Speedmart near the playground to give reward to anyone who
found her rabbit RM1000. When Muaz went to Speedmart, he saw the notice. As he was walking
to his house, he saw a white rabbit with the same leash and small bell as the photo at the Speedmart.
Muaz brought the rabbit home and later contacted Izzah to inform her that he had found her rabbit.
Izzah was ecstatic to know about that news. They agreed to meet at the playground the same evening
and Izzah said she will give Muaz RM1000. Once she met with the rabbit, Izzah only agreed to pay
Muaz RM100. Muaz was dissatisfied with Izzah. Discuss whether there is a valid contract in this
case.
2. Faizal was appointed to be an agent by Carol to find employees for his newly launched business
through power of attorney letter. In finding the employees, Faizal made RM50,000 profit that was
not known to Carol. Discuss whether Faizal has breached his duty and the legal action that Carol
can pursue against Faizal.
