Instructions
In part 2 of your professional portfolio, you will be preparing the items you will need for future career
advancement/employment opportunities.
Part 2 – Future Employment Preparation:
• Cover letter
o Discuss your work philosophy, career goals.
• Include an updated resume
o List extra-curricular activities (such as student organizations, community groups etc.
o Any honor/awards or recognition
o Specialty certifications
o Follow format provided
– Obtain 2 letters of reference from your professors, these will be helpful should you decide to continue
