The first speaker, Jessica Fowler is a Managing Director at The Kind Group in
Toronto, ON. It can be said that Jessica took a traditional route in order to reach to
her current position. During her time at the University of Waterloo, in the Business
and Political Science, Busines Administration and Management, General, Political
Science, Jessica had many co-op positions. She was an analyst for the federal
government where she trained and led conferences in communities across Canada
regarding data collection tools and logic models. After graduating the University of
Waterloo, she was a Country Manager for the Asia Business Channel US Television
in Brussels, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, and Cyprus where she successfully lead a
team in selling commercial airtime to CEO and State officials for Channel News Asia
and Fox5, by effectively executing innovative selling strategies. She also completed
her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Grenoble Graduate School
of Business. She was then the VP of Sales and Business Development at ProEdge
Media Corporation where she screened and uncovered potential revenue streams
by analyzing market strategies, investor trends, deal requirements, and financials.
She was then an Account Executive at the CNW Group where she was responsible
for selling global media platforms and educating public companies on how to
leverage visibility reports. Next, she landed a job at Thomson Reuters Findlaw, as a
Client Development Consultant and finally she worked at Human Equation as the
Director of GTA/Ontario before landing her current position as a Managing Director
at The Kind Group.
