7. What does it mean to say that culture is invisible?
Answer: Refers to the intangible aspects of culture that influence how people behave. At the core of iC are values,
beliefs and assumptions. Groups create rules to reinforce what is considered good or bad, polite or rude, admirable or
contemptible.
Explain how this invisible force serves to restrict and control the activities of advertiser.
Answer: This invisible line matters and customers will point out the wrong in every ad these days. Let’s take Pepsi for
example, the made a big commercial about how Pepsi can bring people together. Instead people said Pepsi was using
the protesting and black lives matter movement and poking fun at them. Instead of Pepsi sticking to the ad and
money they put in the ad they quickly pulled the ad from TV. I have reviewed this ad and the last thing it does is
makes me wanted to drink a Pepsi but people see what they want to see.

Answer:FALSE This statement could not be as far from the true. I would like to think we all are equal and men and
women all think the same but we don’t. Case and point, there was a Mel Gibson movie that came out that was call
“What Women Want.” This movie was about Mel Gibson who was a great Advertising Agent and his new boss was a
