Dear Dr. Sunday,
After much research, I have found the following materials that I believe will be useful in
supporting my students with their artistic abilities and their creative thinking skills. The first
item I would like to request is a magnetic tiles set that comes with 100 pieces in a variety of
shapes. The durable tiles come in bright colors and hold strong magnets that connect to other
tiles to form 3D models and structures. Another great item I found was an interlocking plastic
disc set. This set comes with 600 colorful interlocking discs. These discs are a great alternative
to traditional building blocks. The discs click together for creative play. A pack of color molding
clay would also be a great item to use in my classroom. The clay is ultra light, soft, and stretchy.
The pack comes with tools that students can use to construct the clay into their ideas and the
clay can air dry for a finished product. A classic arts and craft library is an essential creative tool
for every classroom. This kit includes pipe cleaners, pom pom balls, beads, googly eyes,
feathers, glue, and scissors. Lastly, I would like to request a constructive set for my classroom.
This set comes with different shape blocks, nuts, and bolts that students can use to build and
make 3D forms. These items are important to have in my classroom so my students’ creative
thinking and art skills can be encouraged, developed, and strengthened.
I believe that these items can support creative thinking and art in my classroom, in a
