In Brazil, twenty percent of young adults are not going to college, or even looking for a job. This
is one in every four people aged from 18-25. These young adults do not qualify for jobs because they do
not have a high enough education. This leaves them at the lowest poverty level and causes them to
commit crime. This will become a huge problem in the future when the generation gets older. Many
people are now saying that promoting Brazilian’s young people should be a priority to try and prevent
this from hurting the economy.
Businesses are struggling because they have to find new ways to boost their profits by boosting
their productions and making their workers now work even harder.
Some economists are saying that this younger, stay at home generation will have a better
chance of getting a career in the long run. Also, unemployment is still considered low in Brazil, but is
slowly increasing.
