Jacqueline Howard, J. H., (2013), This Is How the Internet Is Rewiring Your Brain,
HUFFPOST, 5 (2).
Nicholas Carr once wrote, “The Internet is an interruption system. It seizes our attention
only to scramble it.” I chose the article “This Is How the Internet Is Rewiring Your Brain,”
because I think it is a very compelling and current problem occurring in our lives. We all are
guilty of using the internet, but do we ever stop and think about how the internet technology
could be changing us and our brain? I thought choosing this article would give me the
opportunity to learn more about how the internet affects us. I wanted to read and review this
article to inform myself and others of the negative effects that too much internet time can trigger.
