The article in the Washington Post discusses the IPhone X early sales
predictions against what they actuality were able to sell. With the IPhone X, Apple
raised prices to $999, in hopes of creating a new luxury market for the sleeker piece
of tech. The result yielded less than stellar results. According to the article, sales
were down 1 percent from the previous year, and missed the mark on early sales
predictions by at least 3 million units. This was only the second time the company
had seen a dip in sales from the previous year, since introducing the phone into the
market in 2007. Future projections for the phone have been adjusted to reflect a
