Reflection
I had fun with this assignment, although it was hard having time to do it because of my
work schedule. I would definitely have loved to have more time so I could have got better
shots and tried other things. Each time I shot pictures I would do different angles to see
which was best to use for each label. My big struggle was the night shot, I didn’t like how
it came out. I feel that, that photo wasn’t right. I tried many times but finally just kept one
to use.
I learned that you really got to be careful with adjusting the focus and shutter speed to the
exact number because if I wasn’t careful at times, each picture I took would come out
blurry. I also learned the angle of how you take your picture is everything, it can make it
look different in many ways. It’s best to shoot in every angle so you find the better picture
to use.
I made the pictures I’m using because I found my neighborhood actually does have decent
qualities and I wanted to show them. Usually in the morning I sleep in when I don’t have
class to go to so I don’t really get to see the morning sunlight against the plants in my
balcony. This assignment allowed me to witness the beautiful way the sunshine rays
display themselves on everything as the sun is coming up. The only display of sunshine I
would witness most was sunsets, but because I was up and it’s before nighttime comes
through and takes over the sky.
