College: A Scam or A Reward?
In today’s world, a better education can be the life changer of what some could
go from living in poverty in the conditions where they have to work two jobs to make
ends meet, while others are able to enjoy their lives while others are able to get what
they need and be able to live lavishly? The answer? College is too expensive! College
being as expensive as it is today than it was back before the new millennium has really
been the bigger cause to the reason why some people are not willing or able to go to
college because they fear they will not be able to afford it and will live the rest if not
most of their days in debt for an education that is only supposed to benefit them but
their families as well. The amount of time spent in college is too long to have to pay that
much for tuition. There are certain reasons why things are done, and one of the things
that have been done is putting a price on college education
The amount of money used for the number of class should be heavily reduced
due to the fact that not everyone can seem to afford the classes as time goes on. It
should be cheaper to help those that come from lower income families so that they can
help the rest of the individuals in their respective families. By lowering the price of
college people will be able to excel in ways that they have not been able to before and
they will be able to reach heights that might have been otherwise unreachable than
someone with only a high school diploma or general education development degree.

Even though there are scholarships that provide tons of money for people who excelled
in class, some people just are not lucky enough to be able to receive them.
One counter to these statements would be that the drive to be successful and to
college success rate would drop compared to those that are in college now. The
reasons why I say this is because sometimes when people here the words “free
education” they think of it as how it was when they were in high school. As long as they
show up and do minimal effort they’ll have the grades but will have the ability to slack off
doing so. Therefore, the dropout rate will increase and resources that could have gone
to someone else would not have and in turn that individual would not be able to get
what they need. But due to the society that we are in, college separates who we are.
Even though it may be wrong, it is what some companies decide to do by going through
