Argentina was founded about 200 years ago on July 9th 1816, the first establishment
though dates back to 1536 and it was started by Pedro de Mendoza.(Diplomat, 2021) That
establishment was the origin of Buenos Aires which is the capital of Argentina. That colony
ended up disappearing and later on becoming the capital. Argentina was under Spanish influence
until San Martin, who was an argentine native, freed Argentina as well as Peru and Chile. After
that battle is when Argentina became an independent country with Bernardino de la Trinidad
González Rivadavia as their first president. Argentina then went on to sign treaties with different
countries, including England and France for trade and began making its way in the world. By
1930 Argentina was in its prime. It was rich in the world’s standards and was flourishing, that is
until there great depression. The fascist groups started a coup which ended up overthrowing the
