Were women worth a rib?
Imagine carrying a child for 9 months, and dealing with all the mixed emotions that relate
to the matter, and later you are informed that your baby is a girl! What would your first thoughts
be? My thoughts would be as many, overwhelmed in joy. However, this is not the case for some
individuals. Unfortunately, some people don’t view women as equal to men. During Susan
Glaspell’s short story, “A Jury of Her Peers,” she will argue the idea that women are being
belittled and mocked by their male partners.
