Doc McStuffins is a show that is aired on Disney Junior. New episodes of Doc
McStuffins are aired every Friday from 8am until 9am. During this time, most children preschool
age and younger are already up and active. The aspect of this show I observed was gender
stereotypes. During my observation, I focused primarily on traditional gender colors, roles, and
gender specific toys that are featured throughout the show.
