Here is the report that was requested on April, 4, 2016 on Apartment Hun(ng.
My report will feature insight from current students who have gone through the process of living o/
campus. This informa(on will include budge(ng, choosing a location, finding roommates, and the
hardest part of the ren(ng process. I would like to take the (me to thank Val orth, Sarah Gryzboski, and
Tyler belle, for taking the (me to interview with me and for giving me insight on what their experiences
were like ren(ng for the 0rst (me. I would also like to thank Dr. Rivers for giving me the opportunity to
get a head start on my search for my future apartment.
ABSTRACT
The paper will explain my journey and research in finding an apartment that will help satisfy my financial
and personal needs. I will use insight and advice from students like myself who have endured similar
circumstances to help guide me through this process.
Introduc(on
Students at some point in their college career will be faced with the decision of either choosing to live on
campus or deciding to rent an apartment. Making the decision to live o/ campus is a big step and will
require extensive research and budge(ng. A financial analysis of your current living expenses are
essential to determining whether or not you can a/ord to live o/ campus. The importance of 0nancial
budgeting is crucial in making the decision as to what you can a/ord to pay in rent and u(li(es. Many
students some(mes tend to struggle to get an apartment due to not having the proper knowledge and
guidance. However in this report individuals will be given both knowledge and guidance in
understanding the ren(ng process and what it takes to make the best inexpensive choice.
Purpose, Scope & Limita(ons
This study will provide individuals with the research and knowledge needed to make the best
inexpensive ren(ng decision. This report will focus on the process involved in making a good apartment
