Video Assignment #1: The Shackles of Tradition
For starters, Anthropology is the scientific study of the origins of humans, and
how have we changed over the years, and what we do differently or similar as a result
of the change. This video mentions the life of an Anthropologist named Franz Boaz. He
made very significant discoveries in the cultures of the African-Americans, Eskimos, and
Native Indians. As mentioned in the video, there were also people who studied Boaz’s
work or some that even knew him personally. They provided more insight into his life
