Anne Boleyn
Anne Boleyn was the second wife of King Henry VIII and served as Queen of England
for nearly three years. She is now known for being one of the most controversial woman in
history, and was extremely cultivated for a woman during her time. Anne was expected to be
born some time in the early 1500’s. Although she was born in Norfolk, England she spent most
of her early life in France.
In 1522 Anne ventured back to the English Court after spending quite some time in
France. At this time, King Henry VIII’s wife Catherine (Catherine of Aragon) had miscarried
