Andy Warhol’s Race Riot
In the textbook “A World of Art”, chapter one talks about the different roles of
artist and discusses the different ways in which people value/ do not value art. In
the Andy Warhol’s Race riot, in my opinion it seemed that Warhol wanted to help
people see the world in new or innovated ways. That is the second role mentioned
in the book.
Did any of the other traditional roles play part in the process? I say yes because, he
wanted to reveal the truth to the universe about certain things that were going on
