Andrew Jackson was born March 15,1787 and died on June 8, 1845. Andrew Jackson
became the seventh president of the United States in the year of 1829 until the year of 1837.
Andrew Jackson was one of the great presidents in American history. Jackson’s greatness was
attributed to his ability to make important decisions without hesitation. Throughout his
presidency he had to handle potential threats to the state of democracy and the policies that
affected the citizens. One main instance of this involved Nicholas Biddle, an American financier,
who served as the third and the last president of the second bank of the United States. Nicholas
