Andrew Jackson left a huge impact on American history during his life time. No matter
what his job was at the time, he made sure that everyone knew about him and respected him
greatly. First, he was a general against the Indians in the Creek War and more importantly
against the British in the War of 1812 where he won an important victory at New Orleans in
1815. Then, he went on to become a president that ended up serving two full terms. As a
citizen under Jackson’s presidency, you either liked him or hated him.
