2) Be familiar with the independent reading and homework content!!!
3) What is the difference between anatomy and physiology?
4) Describe the organization in the human body.
a. In addition be able to:
i. Define atom, molecule, cell, tissue, organ, organ system, organism.
5) How are autoregulation and extrinsic regulation different?
6) Be able to name, identify the parts of, and basic functions of the 11 organ
systems (this information was covered in homework and in the 1st lab meeting).
7) Define and describe homeostasis.
8) Define and describe body fluids. Be able to identify the different types of body
fluids.
9) Explain how external and internal stressors can disturb homeostasis and how the
nervous and endocrine systems maintain it.
10) Describe a feedback loop by naming all components– in order- and what
they do as part of the feedback cycle.
11) Describe how a feedback system works to help regulate homeostasis.
Then compare negative feedback to positive feedback.
