Keep moving, but take breaks
The topic of my essay is “keep moving, but also take some breath breaks”. I am
comparing two articles here: “Breath” by Samuel Beckett and “Traffic” by Kenneth Goldsmith.
In “Breath”, the author is trying to convey a message about an actor who is getting ready to
perform on stage, but he is nervous and anxious. In “Traffic” which is like a transcript of WCBS
1010 wins traffic news in New York City, author Kenneth Goldsmith tries to bring a picture of
NYC traffic in the evening. He describes it as being hectic and frustrating, and those caught in
the snare of traffic tend to be anxious and nervous. After an analysis of these two pieces, I see
