Analysis of Rescuing a Planet Under Stress by Lester R. Brown
Lester Brown addresses major issues concerning the fate of our planet as well as the fate of our
civilization. Human population continues to drastically incline and currently, little is being done to
address this ticking time bomb (Ecology and Society, 2015). After reading Brown’s article I pose the
question, can the world and the Earth’s natural resources support such a massive and demanding
civilization without collapsing due to exhausted resources? (Ecology and Society, 2015). This question
is very similar to one of the many questions that Brown poses to the people of the world.
