AN UNEXPECTED OUTCOME
I didn’t really start out my high school year with a focus on writing. In fact, my schedule was
filled with the complete opposite. My intention was to focus on Biology courses, so I took up as many
science classes as I could. It wasn’t till eleventh grade , did this man enter the classroom introducing
himself as my English teacher. Perhaps it was the way he spoke so grammatically that allured me to find
my true passion in writing. Under those circumstances, I began focusing more on my writing skills, and
began developing a taste for literature.
I was always told to concentrate on subjects that would help me in my future career as a dentist.
