instead of numbers. What advantage does giving the chimpanzees names offer for her research?

Jane Goodall gave her chimpanzees she did research on names, which were, Old Flo, Flint,
Figan, Fifi, Faben, Mike, David Greybeard, Goliath, Mandy, Old Mr. MacGregor, Humphrey, Ollie
Frodo, Fanni, Freud, Getty, Passion, Pom, Gilka, Melissa, Gremlin and Flame. By giving the chimps
