The Ongoing War for Civil Rights
Civil rights movement has been prevalent for numerous amount of years and still is
present till this day. People generally get confused with civil rights and think it only applies to
African-Americans, but it applies to Native Americans, Latinos, gay men and lesbians, and
women. These groups handled their battle for civil rights similarly including supreme court
cases, protests, and direct action. Most notably supreme court cases such as Brown v. Board of
Education. Another famous direct action that heavily influenced Civil Rights Movement was
