Alzheimer’s Disease
As humans, we have discovered a variety of development as the times have
progressed. With all of these developments, people are still clueless as to what is going
on around the world today. A disease that everyone should have at least some insight on
is Alzheimer’s disease. Since it is such a common disease amongst elders, people should
know the signs and symptoms that are well associated with the disease. Even though
there is not a known cure for this disease, there are measures being taken on a daily basis
in hopes to eventually find a cure. Alzheimer’s is slowly making its way up there with
heart disease and cancer as the number one cause of death. This disease is completely
unavoidable, and it can happen to anyone. While scientific research regarding
Alzheimer’s is conducted everyday, people should be more educated about the signs and
symptoms of this disease because it gradually erases memory, so many people are
affected by it, and it can happen to anyone.
According to the Alzheimer’s Association, “Alzheimer’s is a type of dementia that
causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior” (Alzheimer’s Association). One
cannot just develop dementia, there are certain conditions you must gain in order to
develop dementia. Alzheimer’s is a disease that has been found to be currently incurable,
and it is affected by so many people around the world. When it comes to the disease, the
