Summary and Response of Alone Across the Arctic by Pam Flowers Podcast
Pam Flowers says when she was a child – she used to listen to her favorite radio
program. She was inspired by Sgt. Preston and his dog team to run all over the Arctic. Forty
years later, she mentions that she was standing in the outskirts of Barrow, AK alone with
an eight-dog team. They are going to dogsled across the Arctic America to the east side of
Canada. She adds that she spent ten years in Alaska to learn how to dogsled, to take care of
her dogs, and one to expeditions to gain experience. She mentions how dogsledding works
