Question 1: Why is poor communication problematic? List possible consequences that
Doug and this team in the HR Department might face because of poor communication or
lack of communication.
Poor communication is problematic because it wastes time, wastes efforts, loses
goodwill, and may cause legal issues. The Human Resources Department is the backbone for
All-Weather. If Doug and this team in the HR Department has poor communication some of the
consequences are confusion and decreased productivity. Lack of communication between leaders
and subordinates can caused work place conflict, low morale, and trust.
Question 2: What is business and administrative communication? Why is it important to a
manufacturing company such as All-Weather? Why is it important to Doug and his team
in the HR Department?
