Living in a society where safety is a priority when traveling, Airport security is an important
necessity that needs to be enforced with immediate ac!on. However, providing safety for this country is
difficult and hard to manage with the people that con!nually enter and leave the United States.
Therefore, security check in the airport is a certain priority that must be protected by the country from
constant threats all over the world and within the country. Certain threats must be taken in to
precau!on before entering *ight. The word “terrorism” is used very loosely in the media however; its
true meaning represents more than a man with a bomb. Rather, it’s more likely to be a cause of fear of
harm to a state or country. Moreover, the import and export of illegal drugs has always been threat and
now it has become an epidemic. Preven!ng this through security checks and scanning with help reduce
the amount of illegal drugs that enter the United States. As a country we must prevent these threats that
enter the county by improving airport screening technology, enforcing security checkpoints in every
airport, and assis!ng each passenger and airliners to diminish possible threats through ac!ve
