Agriculture
The development of agriculture was a slow process, sporadic, and completely changed
the world over time. While agriculture has many benefits, it also has had many negative effects
on the world. Some people believe agriculture was the worst mistake in the history of the
human race because of these negative impacts. I see where they are coming from and I do
believe the world could have been better off had almost the entire world not adopted it.
The use of agriculture throughout the world started developing sometime between
5,000 to 10,000 years ago, and by about 2,000 years ago, most of the world had adopted
agriculture as their main method of food production. There are 6 “big” crops when agriculture
