The Affordable Care Act or ACA is a healthcare reform that allows for uninsured
Americans to have access to more efficient and lower healthcare costs. These lowered
healthcare cost and more efficient practices, in the large-scale, aim to benefit the United
States of America in a business sense and allow healthcare to the lower class citizens who
couldn’t previously afford basic healthcare. Through the incorporation of Physician
Assistants or (PA’s), this healthcare reform has been made capable of being achieved. The
use of PA’s allows for the regulation of funds on a government scale but also monetarily
benefits the healthcare industry.
The PA position is a very important mid-level medical provider position in the medical
field and this position is drastically increasing due to the net benefit financially regarding
the healthcare field. PA’s also benefit through general improvements to healthcare by
allowing more knowledge in practices and allowing medical decisions to be made through
multiple professional inputs allowing for the best possible outcome, which allows for the
betterment of society through overall health, wellness, and finances.
