“When children see animals in a circus, they learn that animals exist for our amusement” said
Peter singer. It’s obvious that humans are opening more and more circuses every single day from
all over the world, and that’s a big warning for animals. Catching up on that issue, a Ldpa and
Accao animal created an advertisement in order to advise people not to go to the circuses
anymore. In the ad, there are a monkey’s face with a lot of make up on that and some texts.
Although there are many bright colors on the monkey‘s face, they only make him look sad and
angry. In addition, the ad was taken at a medium angle and a close-up distance. The concentrated
lighting focuses on the monkey’s face directly. Looking down on the left of this ad, the
foreground is the text with its saying:” Animal are not clowns”. The background is totally black
and middle ground is still the monkey’s face. As we can see a Ldpa and Accao animal
advertisement is selling an idea to reduce a number of audiences. It uses three interesting
techniques such as color, text and emotion to emphasize the reasons why people should not
spend their money and time to join in circuses.
