Global Issue: Advantages and Disadvantages of Cross Training
Cross-training can be defined as, “teaching your employees the skills and responsibilities
of another position at your company to increase their effectiveness (Wissman).” Sooner or later
cross-training will be needed on the job to effectively continue on tasks, projects, and met
various deadlines. When employees are out sick, have death in the family, on vacation, or other
