In our society, adultery is becoming more and more prevalent. By definition, adultery is
the voluntary act of having sex with someone who is already married to another. Today,
partaking in adultery can include any sexual relations a person has that does not involve their
marital partner. This act has been around since biblical times and is part of the ten
commandments of things Christians should live by every day to be accepted into heave.
However, as time continues to move on, adultery is only becoming more frequent as social
norms are constantly changing. In the past, adultery was very looked down upon and in biblical
times, this sin was punishable by death. Now, people may feel humiliated, but are not punished
by outside authorities. Adultery is depicted today in movies, TV shows, music and many other
social media outlets which may give the respective audiences the idea that it is normal or
