Many aspects of a successful career and life come to mind when asked about my dreams. For
most part, my definition of overall success is sticks to my core values that consist of my Christian faith
and the characteristics and facets of love, family, and respect. When it comes to creating goals, both
short and long-term, these values are what heavily influence and motivate me in every choice and
achievement that I make.
In my lifetime, I plan to achieve quite a few things, which in part comes with quite a few goals
both short-term and long-term. One of my main short-term goals would have to be graduating from
college on time, which would be by the fall of 2019, and with a respectable GPA that would be around a
3.0. Something related to that would be my next short-term goal: finding something specific within my
major, (Computer Science) that I would love to do in order to make my major more interesting and
provide a basis for what my profession could be. Although these goals are very important to me, one
that I feel that I especially need to follow through on would be to grow in my Christian faith by starting a
small group consisting of high-school students and by setting an appropriate and healthy example for
my friends and family.
I feel that the short-term goals that I stated above are particularly important because they
provide a foundation for what I plan to achieve in the distant future through my long-term goals.
Probably the goal that I spend most of time thinking about would be starting a family after college
