My personal achievements differ from other individuals in many ways. I feel like I’ve
faced a lot of adversity to get to my achievements, so they mean a lot to me. One achievement
would be me getting to play college basketball, even though I faced a season ending injury this
year that devastated me. I’ve worked hard to recover from it, and I earned myself a spot on a
college basketball team, which has been a dream of mine forever. I sat out for 6 weeks, anxiously
waiting to get back and play some of my senior year, but there were different plans ahead for me.
On the 6th week exactly, I broke my leg again, and had to have another surgery that caused me
to completely miss the rest of the season for good. I was heartbroken, didn’t even know if I
