Abstract
Today, you will not be bored by the black text on this plain white paper. Today, you will
explore a paper about the connections, actions, and obligations people make due to culture. This
paper will take you on a journey. This paper will involve the the subconscious and conscious
perspective of culture while defining the importance of culture in our society. First, we are going
to explore what culture is, how culture influences people’s actions, and how culture holds people
to moral and ethical decisions. We will talk about the societal influence of culture. This will give
the audience a soft lesson about the difference between societal culture and organizational
culture. This section of our journey will also unfold how culture influences every citizen as well
as members (employees). Second, we will head into the airy section of the paper as we take a
flight through the two different accounting practices. On this trip, we will explore the inner
workings of two accounting cultures that have been experienced in Corporate America. Next, we
will dive deep into the consequences of each culture. Lastly, we will compare the organizational
culture differences and look at their accounting ethics, morals and practices. We will then
conclude how culture affects organizations differently especially accounting. After reading this
essay, you are going to feel the instant connection not your culture, your organization’s culture,
and the accounting culture your organization practices. Is this the culture you want to represent?
Is this the culture you want your organization to be known for? If it is, then keep improving it,
and if it is not, keep improving it!
